Mike Pavolonis Honored by American Astronautical Society

Pavolonis (CoRP / ASPB) received the distinguished 2015 Earth Science
and Applications Award from the American Astronautical Society (AAS) today
in Greenbelt, MD. He joins an eminent group of individuals such as
James Lovell, Commander of Apollo 13 who was honored by AAS today at
the 54th Robert H. Goddard Memorial Symposium. Mike's award recognizes
him "For developing cutting-edge methods to convert satellite data
into actionable information for mitigating hazards caused by volcanic
eruptions and severe convection". Please join us in congratulating
